How Can numbness And Tingling In The Lower Legs Be Treated?
I was having numbness and tingling in my feet and lower legs a couple months ago. My doctor said it was too much vitamin B. I ve stopped taking it and the numbness went away. Just now walking my dogs the numbness was back. I do have relapsing MS but it hasn t been a problem. What else could have these symptoms? I am about to turn 60, female and good weight.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, Thans for asking. I have read &understood your query. Tinglingnumbness of feet&lower legs could be due tdefeciency of vitamine B12 /anemia or due to nerve pressure (of the affected parts ) at spinal, sciatic or local level. You need imaging investigations/serum vit. B12 levels,Hb%along with physical examination by an expert doctor. Consult your treating doctor for necessary investigations &needful treatment.( supplements of defecient nutritive factor/physiotherapy.) Thanks.
